.Using these tools, we can help catch potential issues early, and tailor your treatment plan to your unique needs. Through our technology and comprehensive eye exams, we can help you preserve your long-term visual health.

Retinal Imaging & Eye Pressure Testing

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a technology that uses light waves to provide detailed images of your retina and optic nerve. We use devices like ZEISS OCT and Optos to detect small changes in your eye before symptoms of eye disease appear.

iCare is a gentle, handheld device that helps measure eye pressure, making it a great tool for routine glaucoma screenings and monitoring.

Visual field tests help us assess your peripheral vision to check for glaucoma or other issues. We use it to map your field of vision to detect if there are any areas of vision loss.

To help identify vision issues before symptoms develop, we use a device called RetEval. It uses flashes of light to measure the electrical responses of your retina.

In order to diagnose dry eye, cataracts, and corneal issues, we use a special anterior segment camera to capture high-resolution images of the front part of your eye.

When it comes to improving eyelid health and overall comfort, we can use intense pulsed light (IPL) or radiofrequency treatment to help fight the symptoms of dry eye disease while also rejuvenating and tightening the skin around the eyes.

Common Eye Diseases & Conditions

We believe that knowledge is the first step in protecting your vision. Our friendly team is here to not only diagnose and treat eye diseases, but also to help you understand them.

Eye diseases are conditions that affect the health of your eyes, and can lead to vision loss if left untreated. We take an informative approach, helping you recognize early symptoms and feel confident in your care plan.

Let us guide you through common eye conditions, so you’re equipped to maintain long-term eye health.

Cataracts

Cataracts occur when the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy, causing blurry vision and increased glare. When it comes to prevention, we recommend protecting your eyes from UV rays with sunglasses when necessary.

Cataracts is often associated with aging, but can be treated effectively with surgery to restore clear vision. We work closely with local, trusted ophthalmologists—those who perform cataract surgery—and provide comprehensive support before and after the procedure is complete.

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, often because of high eye pressure. Early detection through regular eye exams is an important way to prevent serious symptoms like vision loss.

To treat glaucoma, prescription eye drops, oral medications, and surgical procedures can be used to help improve fluid drainage from the eye and reduce pressure.

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) affects the macula, which is responsible for your central vision and detailed tasks like reading.

There are 2 types of AMD: dry AMD, which progresses slowly and can be managed with supplements and lifestyle changes, and wet AMD, which may require injections or laser therapy to prevent vision loss.

Diabetic eye disease includes several conditions caused by diabetes, such as diabetic retinopathy, which damages the blood vessels in the retina and can lead to vision impairment.

Regular eye exams are crucial for early detection. We design our treatments to work comprehensively with your overall diabetes management plan.

Amblyopia, or lazy eye, is a condition where one eye hasn’t developed properly, causing poor vision. Poor development can result in vision differences between the eyes as we lean on the stronger eye for our sight. Amblyopia can be treated using corrective lenses or eye patches that encourage the weaker eye to develop properly.

Lazy eye can be common in children, and routine eye exams are recommended for proper diagnosis and treatment.
